But my very, very favorite children's book about St. Patrick (and I adore St. Patrick) is Saint Patrick and the Snakes. It was published in Dublin inand my youngest son's godparents got him a copy when they were there in   Philip Freeman is professor of Classics at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and is the author of 15 books, including The World of Saint Patrick.
